Russian Manicures by Camila Borja occupies a suite on Jefferson Avenue in Uptown Temecula, operating as a focused nail salon built around precision manicure work rather than a high-volume walk-in mill. The service menu centers on gel and acrylic applications, with the Russian manicure technique as a signature — detailed, time-intensive work that requires advance booking and a client willing to sit through a longer appointment than a basic polish change demands. This setup attracts regulars who understand the difference between a fifteen-minute mani and a full set with custom nail art or design detail, plus occasional clients treating a special occasion as a reason to invest in detailed work. Weekly or biweekly appointments are the baseline rhythm here rather than drop-in visits; group bookings for events (weddings, showers, birthdays) fit the salon's model. For someone wanting a quick in-and-out manicure, a higher-turnover shop elsewhere on Jefferson or in surrounding Temecula retail is a better match. For a client who values precision work and isn't watching the clock, this is where that patience pays off.

Revive Nails and Spa operates in the Roripaugh Estates area of Temecula, running a mixed-service salon that handles the standard nail work—manicures, pedicures, gel extensions, dip powders, acrylics—plus add-on services like lash and brow work. The salon functions as a volume operation rather than a boutique appointment-only studio, meaning the pace accommodates both walk-ins and pre-booked clients, with techs moving through regular maintenance visits alongside longer design sessions. The clientele splits between weekly regulars maintaining gel manicures or standing pedicure appointments and occasional visitors treating themselves between seasons or before events. The format suits someone squeezing in a quick polish refresh between errands as much as someone blocking out an hour for a full set with nail art and design consultation. For intricate custom nail art or a highly specialized technician, boutique salons elsewhere in town may be the better fit. For the reliable weekly or bi-weekly maintenance visit in the neighborhood, Revive fills that regular-traffic role most Roripaugh residents already know.
Not only is this place full of talent, they’re courteous, decently priced, and will remember you. The whole staff is amazing. I highly recommend Kevin and Sue if you want a perfect pink & white. I got my nails done at another salon a week ago and wasn’t satisfied. My daughter and I came in today and Kevin was awesome! they did our fills and they look much nicer, cleaner and pretty. I am very satisfied with their work. Highly recommend Revive Nail & Spa.
Went in with my daughter as a walk-in and they took us immediately. I didn’t get the name of our techs, but they were fantastic. The salon was clean and the work was great. We’ll definitely be back!
What Locals Know
Roripaugh Estates is a residential pocket east of the main retail corridor — salons here tend to serve neighborhood regulars rather than drive-by traffic. Expect a steadier, less chaotic pace than high-volume strip-mall locations.
Ivy Nails & Spa operates on Ynez Road as a volume-oriented salon handling the standard mix — gel manicures, acrylics, pedicures, dip powder, nail art — alongside add-on services like lash and brow work. The salon runs a walk-in model with capacity for multiple stations working simultaneously, prioritizing turnover and convenience over reservation-only exclusivity. Expect steady traffic, quick check-ins, and a room organized around efficiency rather than lounge-style pacing. The clientele splits between weekly regulars stopping in for maintenance (gel fills, pedicure refreshes) and occasional visitors booking time around events or as a treat-yourself errand. Group bookings for bridal parties or birthday celebrations work within the walk-in framework, though calling ahead for a larger party ensures chair availability. For someone wanting a quick manicure between other Ynez Road errands or a standing weekly appointment with minimal wait, this format fits. For custom nail art requiring a long design consultation or a multi-hour acrylics transformation with a single technician, the boutique salons elsewhere in town offer that paced, appointment-locked model instead.
