Cobb J Erick DVM operates a general practice veterinary clinic on Hayes Avenue in Murrieta, handling routine wellness exams, vaccinations, dental work, and diagnostic services for dogs, cats, and small animals. The practice focuses on preventive care and standard medical treatment rather than emergency stabilization or specialty referrals — the kind of clinic where most pet owners take their animals for annual checkups, sick visits, and routine procedures. Pet owners in Murrieta with a regular dog or cat use this as their primary veterinarian, scheduling appointments for vaccines, flea prevention, behavioral concerns, and minor illness. For middle-of-the-night emergencies or complex surgical cases that demand specialty equipment and round-the-clock monitoring, the 24-hour emergency hospitals elsewhere in the valley are the necessary backup. For the day-to-day medicine that keeps a healthy pet on track, Cobb J Erick fills the local general-practice role most households need within their own neighborhood.

Murrieta Family Pet Hospital operates as a veterinary clinic on Washington Avenue in Murrieta, offering the full scope of companion animal medicine — routine wellness visits, vaccinations, dental work, surgery, and diagnostic imaging for dogs and cats. The practice handles acute illness and injury alongside preventive care and geriatric management, serving the local residential base rather than operating as a specialty referral center. The typical client is a Murrieta pet owner managing routine health maintenance: annual checkups before boarding trips, vaccination updates for puppies or newly adopted animals, dental cleanings on a schedule, and same-day or next-day appointments for sick pets. Working professionals with multiple animals find the clinic useful as a single point of contact; owners of senior dogs managing chronic conditions return regularly. For exotic pets, emergency surgery, or advanced oncology, the regional specialty hospitals carry those cases. For the standard veterinary care that most dog and cat owners need on a regular basis, this fits the local-practice role.

Murrieta Animal Hospital sits on the Jefferson Avenue commercial corridor in Murrieta, offering veterinary care rather than grooming, boarding, or training — the clinical side of pet services where routine checkups, vaccinations, illness treatment, and surgical procedures are the core work. The practice handles dogs and cats primarily, with the standard scope of a neighborhood animal hospital. The clientele runs the typical veterinary spectrum: pet owners on an annual wellness schedule, people bringing in sick or injured animals same-day, and new-pet owners handling puppy or kitten vaccines and microchipping. Working professionals juggling multiple pets benefit from a local clinic with accessible hours rather than a distant emergency hospital; families managing chronic conditions in older dogs or cats develop an ongoing relationship with the same veterinarian over years. For boarding, grooming, or daycare services, other facilities in the area are the fit; for medical need, this is the routine-care stop most Murrieta residents already know.
My family has used Murrieta Animal Hospital for all of our pets needs for years now. Dr. Elliott is the BEST vet around. It's so apparent that she loves all of her furry patients like they are her own, and even though I spend most of the year in the Bay Area, I go out of my way to bring my two Benga...
I regret not writing this review any sooner. I had brought my dog Remy to see the vet for a complete exam Feb 3, 2023 and when he came out he was injured! He has never been the same since that day and has always had a limp. I have video footage and emails that I sent the doctor but they continue to ...
Dr Elliot and the rest of the nurses and staff couldn't be nicer. We just adopted a small kitten and they were so helpful with getting her all of her shots and making sure that she is a healthy lil kitty. Luckily she is! Mochi says thank you!!
What Locals Know
Murrieta's newer neighborhoods and growing residential development mean steady demand for accessible veterinary clinics within the city limits. Pet owners here often prioritize clinics close to home rather than driving into Old Town Temecula or further east.
