About this position

Applicants will be considered based on their knowledge, skills or abilities related to project needs. Specifically, applicants should have: Experience with Microsoft Products (Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI) Advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) skills. Knowledgeable with Emergency Management Constructs. Understanding of concept planning. Make an impact while you learn! The Semester of Service Program gives students a volunteer, project-based opportunity to support real Federal missions, gaining hands-on experience and career-ready skills. To participate, students must be enrolled at least half-time in an accredited institution and participation must be with the permission of the institution at which the student is enrolled. With this opportunity, you will support an emergency management based project.
  • Assist in the update of the All-Hazards Plan.
  • Coordinate with FEMA and state/local emergency services.
  • Develop, test, evaluate, and implement emergency response plans to protect national landmarks.
